I love reading, writing, poetry. I love words \u2014 the\u00a0song, meaning, colors, juxtaposition \u2014 new, old and invented words. I especially\u00a0love the power, magic and play of words.<\/p>\n

To me, words and poetry mean choice,\u00a0creativity and communication. I want to create a layered experience with a\u00a0twist, tweak, transition or a quiet moment \u2014 a gift to the reader.\u2028\u2028 When I write\u00a0poetry I think of my poems as if I were painting with words on the tip of my brush\u00a0and on my palette. I write \u201cpaintings\u201d \u2014 to say in words what words cannot.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0find the challenge in poetry is trying to juxtapose the hard realities of life with\u00a0hope and many times humor. I am hopeful and don’t want to add to or dwell on\u00a0the multi-injustices of the world today, but more and more I want to bring these to light and still contribute hope, love, healing.\u2028\u2028\u2028 Please enjoy my\u00a0poems.<\/p>\n
